Shipmozo connector: documentation
The Shipmozo connector lets an AI assistant work on your Shipmozo seller account: orders, courier rates, shipping, tracking, NDRs, returns and exchanges, COD remittance, wallet and weight discrepancies. It is a remote MCP server operated by Shipmozo.
Before you start
- An active Shipmozo seller account (sign up at shipmozo.com). Shipping and other paid actions use your Shipmozo wallet as usual.
- Claude on a plan that supports connectors.
Set up
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and add Shipmozo. To add it manually, choose Add custom connector and enter
https://claude.shipmozo.com/mcp. - Click Connect. A Shipmozo sign-in page opens: sign in with the email or phone number and password you use on panel.shipmozo.com.
- Start a chat and ask about your shipments.
Your password is sent only to Shipmozo. Sessions last up to 7 days; after that Claude asks you to connect again. To disconnect, remove the connector in Claude's settings.
Examples
- "Which orders are ready to ship today?"
- "Compare rates for a 1 kg COD parcel from 110001 to 400001, and tell me which courier has the best delivery record."
- "Ship order 196SM123 with the suggested courier and schedule pickup."
- "Show my NDRs and re-attempt the ones where the customer was not available."
- "When is my next COD payout?"
- "List weight discrepancies from this week."
- "Customer wants to exchange order 196SM123 for size L. Create the return and the replacement."
You stay in control
- Reading tools (orders, tracking, rates, wallet…) run without changing anything.
- Tools that change your account (create, ship, cancel, returns, re-attempts, tickets) ask for your approval in Claude before each call.
- Before acting, every tool re-checks the order's live status, so an order can't be shipped, cancelled or re-attempted twice by mistake.
- Courier suggestions use price, delivery estimate and your own delivery and RTO history to that state.
Tools (26)
Read-only (16)
- Account summary
get_account_summary
Snapshot of the seller account: wallet balance, COD due and next payout date, order counts by stage (new, pickup pending, in transit, delivered, NDR, RTO), and any pending account actions. Good first call for "how is my business doing" or "what needs attention". - List orders
list_orders
List forward orders by stage, the same tabs as the Shipmozo panel. Use view "new" for orders ready to ship, "undelivered" for failed deliveries, "rto" for returns to origin. Filter by date, payment type, order IDs, AWBs or buyer. - Get order details
get_order
Full details of one order: buyer, pickup and RTO addresses, products, package (entered vs courier-measured weight), charges billed, order status history and tracking history. - Track shipment
track_shipment
Live tracking for an AWB: current status, expected delivery date, and the scan history with locations (newest first). - List NDR shipments
list_ndr_shipments
Shipments with a failed delivery attempt (NDR) that need a decision: re-attempt or let them return. Shows the courier's reason and number of attempts. Views: action_required, wrong_address, delivered_after_ndr, rto. - List return orders
list_returns
Reverse-pickup / customer return orders by stage. - Compare courier rates
compare_courier_rates
Quote every courier available to this seller for a parcel between two pincodes, with total charge (incl. GST and COD fees), expected delivery days and zone. By default also attaches each courier's delivery and RTO record from the seller's own shipments to the destination state, and tags the cheapest, fastest and most reliable options. - Courier performance scorecard
courier_performance
Scorecard of each courier on the seller's own shipments: volume, delivered %, RTO %, average pickup-to-delivery days. Optionally narrow to a destination state, pincode prefix (e.g. "110" for Delhi) or payment type. Use it to decide which couriers to prefer or avoid. - Check pincode
check_pincode
Look up a pincode's city and state, and (with a pickup pincode) the shipping zone between them. For courier serviceability and prices use compare_courier_rates. - COD remittance
get_cod_remittance
COD money: total collected, already transferred, pending, the next payout amount and date, the seller's remittance cycle plan, and past remittances with bank UTRs. - Wallet passbook
get_wallet_transactions
Wallet balance and passbook: every debit and credit (freight, weight-discrepancy charges, RTO charges, recharges, refunds) with the order/AWB and running balance. Use it to answer "why was my wallet debited". - Weight discrepancies
list_weight_discrepancies
Shipments where the courier charged for more weight than entered: entered vs courier weight and dimensions, extra charge, dispute status, days left to dispute, and admin replies. Includes pending/accepted/rejected dispute counts. - Pickup addresses
list_pickup_addresses
The seller's pickup addresses (warehouses) with their IDs, pincodes and which one is default. - Support tickets
list_support_tickets
The seller's Shipmozo support tickets and their status, plus the ticket categories (with IDs) available for raising a new one. - Courier options for an order
get_shipping_options
Courier services available for a specific unshipped order, with the exact charge, expected delivery and zone. Call this before ship_order to pick a courier_service_id. - Return reasons
get_return_reasons
The return reasons (with IDs) that can be used when creating a return or responding to a return request.

- Ship order
ship_order
Assign a courier to an unshipped order, generate the AWB and (by default) schedule pickup. This charges the seller's wallet. Get courier_service_id from get_shipping_options or compare_courier_rates. Refuses if the order is already shipped. - Schedule pickup
schedule_pickup
Schedule courier pickup for an order that already has a courier assigned but no pickup yet. - Get shipping label
get_shipping_label
Generate a printable shipping label PDF for one or more shipped orders and return its download link. - Cancel order or shipment
cancel_orderdestructive
Cancel an order. If a courier is already assigned (AWB generated, not yet picked up), cancels the shipment so the order goes back to "new"; set cancel_order_too to also cancel the order itself. Cannot cancel parcels already picked up. - Re-attempt NDR delivery
reattempt_delivery
Ask the courier to re-attempt delivery for a shipment in NDR (failed delivery). Use list_ndr_shipments to find candidates. - Create order
create_order
Create a new domestic forward order (single box). It is saved as "new"; ship it afterwards with get_shipping_options + ship_order. Pickup address defaults to the seller's default warehouse. - Raise support ticket
raise_support_ticket
Open a Shipmozo support ticket, optionally about a specific order or AWB. Get category IDs from list_support_tickets. - Create return or exchange
create_return
Create a reverse-pickup order for a delivered order: the courier collects the parcel from the buyer and brings it back to the seller. For an exchange, can also create the replacement forward order in the same step. Only delivered single-box orders are eligible, and only one return per order. The return is saved as "new": ship it with get_shipping_options + ship_order like any order. - Accept or reject return request
respond_to_return_request
Accept or reject a return the customer requested themselves (list_returns view "requested"). Accepting turns it into a return order ready to ship. - Record return refund
mark_return_refunded
Record that the customer has been refunded for a received return, with the refund/transaction reference.
Limits
- Domestic (India) forward and reverse shipments. International and multi-box B2B bookings are best done in the Shipmozo panel.
- Returns can be created for delivered, single-box orders.
- Couriers that need OTP verification at booking must be shipped from the panel.
- Weight disputes can be viewed here; raising one with photo evidence is done in the panel.
Troubleshooting
- "Your Shipmozo session has expired": disconnect and connect the Shipmozo connector again.
- A courier is "not available for this order": options change with weight, pincode and payment type; ask for the shipping options again.
- Anything else: email support@shipmozo.com with the time and what you asked.
